Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Trackster is a place for people who love the outdoors to record their adventures and share them with others. To keep it safe and welcoming, everyone is expected to follow these guidelines. They apply to everything you post — activities, photos, descriptions, comments, and chat messages.
Be respectful
- Treat other people the way you'd want to be treated on the trail.
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech of any kind.
- No content that targets people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Keep it appropriate
- No sexually explicit or pornographic content.
- No graphic violence or content that glorifies self-harm.
- No content that promotes illegal activity.
Be authentic and respect others
- Don't impersonate other people or misrepresent who you are.
- Don't post other people's private information or precise location without their consent.
- Don't spam, scam, or post misleading content.
- Only post content you have the right to share.
Reporting and blocking
If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, you can act directly in the app:
- Report — use the ••• menu on an activity, route, comment, profile, or message to report it. Reports are reviewed and we aim to respond promptly.
- Block — block any user from their profile, a chat, or a friend card. Blocked users can no longer interact with you or appear in your feed. You can manage blocked users in Profile → Settings → Blocked Users.
Enforcement
We review reported content and take action against violations, which may include removing content, issuing warnings, and suspending or permanently terminating accounts. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
